We are looking for a friendly, efficient and caring person who can be flexible and is willing to learn to join our busy office in Welwyn Garden City as a Business Administrator Apprentice Level 3.
Business Administrator Apprenticeship Summary:
Annual wage:
£8,328 (Based on working a full School year – 39 Weeks)
Working Week:
Monday - Friday 9am-15:30pm (30mins for lunch)
Expected Duration:
12-18 Months
Apprenticeship level:
Level 3 (Equivalent to an A level)
Location:
Welwyn Garden City
What you will do in your working day:
In addition to a range of general business administrator duties including filing, photocopying and answering telephone calls you will work alongside our Office Manager to:
- Welcome and greet visitors and parents to the school
- Maintain accurate pupil attendance registers
- Produce emails, letters and files and maintain records
- Work with IT systems including Word, Excel and other school specific systems. Training will be provided!
The training you will be getting:
You will achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
You will have a Mentor who will deliver one to one teaching and learning.
In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role.

Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C) Essential
Other:
- Child and Adult DBS
- Full-Time Right to Work
- Must be able to commute to Welwyn Garden City
The successful applicant will need to understand the need for integrity and be able to apply confidentiality where necessary as Safeguarding is a key part of our role. Good time management and communication skills are essential.
