Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a Graduate Teaching Assistant located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire? Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals who need personalised support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a learner on a 1 to 1 basis between 08:45- 12:00.
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP
Graduate Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day activities, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare
- Support both the emotional and educational needs of learner.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure individualised learning and emotional support.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Graduate Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Prior experience working with SEN is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with school staff, parents, and carers.
- Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are beneficial.
- Availability for part-time work, Monday to Friday, 08:45- 12:00
- Must be able to commute to Cambridge.
- Right to work full time in the UK is essential.
