Lead SEN Teaching Assistant – Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Lead SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of SEN Teaching Assistants.
- Plan and deliver tailored educational programs for a small group of complex needs learners.
- Assess the progress and development of each learner, adapting strategies as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one support and group interventions to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Lead SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, with a focus on complex needs.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Ability to assess and adapt educational plans to meet individual learner needs.
- Effective communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Must have a Child DBS.
- Must be able to commute to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
