Learning Mentor – Bespoke SEND Support in and around Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Inspire EHC is seeking a compassionate and committed Learning Mentor to provide bespoke 1:1 and small-group support for primary-aged learners with Autism, SEMH, EBSA and complex needs in and around Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
As a Learning Mentor, you will:
- Deliver personalised learning and mentoring support that helps pupils re-engage with education
- Use creative, flexible and nurturing approaches tailored to each learner’s individual needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners, families, schools and other professionals
- Support emotional wellbeing, confidence, routines and readiness to learn
- Travel to learner locations in and around Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, including home, community, rural and city-based settings
What we are looking for in our Learning Mentors
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, EBSA or complex needs
- A patient, trauma-informed and relationship-led approach
- The ability to adapt learning and mentoring support to suit individual needs
- Strong communication skills, resilience and a calm, reliable manner
- Availability for 10, 15, 25 or 30-hour contract options
