Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Near Attleborough, Norfolk
Rate: £86 - £98/day
Hours: Term time only (Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.45pm)
We are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant near Attleborough, Norfolk, to join our school. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, and we are seeking someone to support children with their learning and care, both in school and other settings. You will help develop and deliver personalised learning programmes while working closely with colleagues to support pupils' daily routines, transitions, and positive behaviour management.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant near Attleborough, Norfolk, you will play a key role in ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and supportive environment. You will assist the class teacher with the daily running of the classroom, ensuring that pupils' needs are met and the learning experience is of the highest quality.
Key Duties:
- Build a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to ensure they feel safe and are able to enjoy and engage with their learning.
- Promote independence and personal development in pupils while maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Contribute to providing high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities through supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Assist the Class Teacher in all areas of the day-to-day running of the class near Attleborough, Norfolk.
- Adapt to the changing needs of the school, helping to achieve smooth operations and a positive environment.
- Promote the social, emotional, behavioural, and cognitive development of pupils.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant near Attleborough, Norfolk, you will have the opportunity to work with small class sizes, typically consisting of no more than 10 students. This enables a tailored approach that addresses each student's individual needs, allowing them to flourish in an environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards it).
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
- Experience and knowledge of working with pupils with SEMH and ASD.
- Due to the rural location near Attleborough, Norfolk, candidates are strongly advised to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
