Level 3 Teaching Assistant –Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our brand-new SEMH setting in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire from September 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a therapeutic and inclusive environment.
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: 40 weeks (Term time plus 1)
Salary: £25,584 - £27,269
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, you will take on additional responsibilities, including providing targeted classroom support, assisting with teacher administration, and leading small groups to enhance pupil learning and development.
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Lead small group learning sessions and interventions as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- Assist with classroom preparation, planning, and resource development.
- Provide behaviour support and help manage pupil engagement.
- Encourage pupil independence and participation in learning in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and external professionals.
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Skills & Requirements:
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Have experience working with children, particularly those with ASD and SEMH needs.
- Are confident in leading small groups and supporting pupil development.
- Have strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
