Primary SEMH Mentor – Alternative Provision (Cambridgeshire)
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking Primary SEMH Mentors throughout Cambridgeshire to support children who find it hard to settle in mainstream settings due to SEMH, trauma, EBSA or Autism.
Primary SEMH Mentor Role Overview
- Provide 1:1 mentoring and emotional support
- Use relational and restorative approaches
- Re‑engage learners through creative, practical activities
- Support reintegration where appropriate
- Commute to locations throughout Cambridgeshire
- Available 10/15/30 hours per week
Primary SEMH Mentor Ideal Backgrounds
- Behaviour Mentor
- Youth Worker
- Pastoral or therapeutic support roles
- School based SEMH support
- Available to commute to locations throughout Cambridgeshire
