Position: Primary SEMH Teacher
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time only
Salary: Main Pay Scale plus SEN allowance
Contract: Temp and Permanent roles available
Are you a passionate Primary Teacher with a heart for supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)? Our partner school in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, is looking for a dedicated Primary SEMH Teacher to join their nurturing team and make a real difference to children’s lives.
This is more than just a teaching role. It’s about helping pupils rediscover their love of learning, building their confidence, and giving them the tools to thrive both in and out of the classroom. You’ll be teaching small groups of children in a supportive and creative environment where every success is celebrated.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.

Provide consistent pastoral support to ensure pupils feel safe, valued, and included.

Work creatively to adapt the National Curriculum to each child’s needs.

Collaborate with families, carers, and external agencies to reduce barriers to learning.

Track progress and celebrate achievements, no matter how small.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience working in SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision.

Resilience, patience, and the ability to build strong relationships.

A passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning opportunities.
