We are proud to be supporting our partner Residential SEN School near Worcester, Worcestershire through their current expansion plans. Our partner Residential SEN School is looking to recruit additional Residential Support Workers to support their learners with Hearing Impairment and/or Visual Impairment near Worcester, Worcestershire.
Residential Support Worker Responsibilities:
- Support learners with Hearing Impairment and/or Visual Impairment.
- Work in a setting where safeguarding is at the forefront Complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.
- Work flexibly across the site and the residential houses to deliver a comprehensive care programme appropriate to the individual students.
- Empower vulnerable young people to be happy and to make their way in the world
- To assist in providing opportunities for students to develop socially into a mature and confident young person.
- Commutable to Worcester, Worcestershire.
Residential Support Worker Applicant Requirements:
- Desirable experience in supporting young or adults learners with Hearing Impairment and/or Visual Impairment.
- Willing got work toward QCF level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Passionate about supporting young people with Complex Needs
- Average 40 hours per week (1300-2100 weekday term time. 0900-2100 weekend and non-term time)
- 07:00 – 09:00 Monday to Friday
- 15:00 – 23:00 – Monday to Thursday
- 14:00 – 18:00 – on Friday
- 1-3 sleep ins per week (to be discussed)
- Commutable to Worcester, Worcestershire
