Join Our Team – SEN Healthcare Support Workers in St Albans, Hertfordshire
Are you passionate about making a real difference? We are looking for Healthcare Support Workers to support children, young people, and adults in SEN settings across St Albans. These roles give you the chance to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in safe, structured, and supportive environments.
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Role: SEN Healthcare Support Worker
Contract: Temporary, ongoing, and temp-to-perm positions
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
The role

Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal care
-
Assisting with emotional wellbeing, communication, and social development

Encouraging independence while promoting dignity and confidence

Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding guidance

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals

Monitoring progress and reporting any concerns accurately
Who We’re Looking For:

Compassionate, patient, and adaptable individuals

Previous experience in SEN or healthcare is an advantage but not required

Willingness to engage in training and professional development

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
