I have an exciting new opportunity at a fantastic SEN School near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. We are looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference in children's and young people's lives in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
- We're looking for resilient, caring SEN Learning Support Assistant who are committed to making a long-term impact in the lives of our students.
- Must be able to commute to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
- Hours are 09:00 - 15:30 (Monday – Friday).
The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant will possess:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, and colleagues.
- A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
- A genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting the well-being and academic success of every child.
- The commitment to commuting to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
