Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (Monday – Friday, Term Time Only)
Salary: Main Pay Scale

About the Role:
- Teach small groups of primary-aged students with complex emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that support individual learning styles.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to help students thrive academically and socially.
- Work closely with families, carers, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to education.
- Support students in developing their confidence, resilience, and key life skills.
What We’re Looking For in a Primary Teacher:
Experience, Skills & Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged students with additional learning or behavioural needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills, particularly in supporting students with complex needs.
- A proven ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and multi-agency teams.
- A flexible and creative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt strategies to individual needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- A team player who is committed to delivering a holistic and inclusive educational experience.
- Resilience and emotional intelligence to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge & Understanding:
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and its application in an alternative provision setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and how to apply them effectively.
- Familiarity with safeguarding, child protection, equal opportunities, and health & safety regulations.
- An understanding of planning and assessment strategies to track student progress.
- The ability to personalise learning and implement strategies to help every child reach their full potential.
