We are looking for an additional SEN TA passionate about making a real difference in children's and young people's lives in Leatherhead, Surrey.
As a SEN TA at our Primary School, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting SEN pupils on a 1 to 1 basis in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
- We're looking for resilient, caring SEN TA who are committed to making a long-term impact in the lives of our students.
- Commuting to Leatherhead, Surrey.
The ideal SEN TA will possess:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, and colleagues.
- A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
- A genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting the well-being and academic success of every child.
- The commitment to commuting to Leatherhead, Surrey.
