Inspire EHC is recruiting a dedicated Contract SEN Teacher to join a highly regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Lowestoft, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and well-established specialist setting.

Key Responsibilities – SEN Teacher - KS3

Plan and deliver adapted and engaging lessons for students with SEN and complex needs

Monitor and assess student progress in line with EHCP targets

Implement effective behaviour management strategies

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents
-
Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies
-
Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and development
Requirements – SEN / SEND Teacher - KS3

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience working within SEN, SEND or specialist education settings
-
Strong understanding of autism, MLD, and communication needs
-
Excellent behaviour management and classroom adaptability
-
Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
-
Passion for supporting children with additional needs in education
