About the Schools
We work with a range of established mainstream and specialist provisions across Surrey, all focused on delivering personalised education to pupils with diverse additional needs. These settings prioritise tailored support, independence, and the emotional wellbeing of every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Track and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching methods where required.
- Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to support each child’s development.
- Maintain clear and accurate records relating to progress, behaviour, and support plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and social development.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with, or a genuine interest in supporting, children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive practice.
