SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Help prepare learning materials and organize fun, engaging classroom activities.
- Offer hands-on support, responding to the emotional and physical needs of pupils.
- Nurture individual growth and encourage pupils to engage with the world around them.
- Support classroom activities indoors and outdoors, adapting to each student’s unique needs.
- Lead outdoor learning adventures and help keep the environment safe and exciting.
- Assist teachers in delivering creative lessons while ensuring a clean, safe classroom.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in similar roles, especially with pupils with Autism (desirable).
- A positive team player who loves sharing ideas and collaborating.
- A passion for working with neurodiverse pupils, particularly those with Autism.
- Previous experience with young people with learning disabilities or Autism is a plus.
