SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Assist with the implementation of differentiated learning activities to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
- Monitor student progress and behaviour and provide regular feedback to the SENCO and classroom teacher.
- Ability to commute to near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.
- Build positive relationships with the student, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of SEN students.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred.
- Strong communication skills essential for interacting with school staff, parents, and caregivers.
- Possession of certificates in supporting teaching and learning is advantageous.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 08:30 to 15:30.
- Ability to commute to near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.
- Must have the right to work full time.
- Must have a Child and Adult DBS.
