SEN Teaching Assistant
Exciting Opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant at a SEN School near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
We're thrilled to be working with an exceptional all-through Special School (SEN School) near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, in their search for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support their students with Autism. Catering to both Primary and Secondary aged learners, our partner school is renowned for its commitment to providing tailored support for individuals with Autism in the Borehamwood area.
Salary: £80 -£90 (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
Contract: Full-Time: Mon-Fri 09:00-16:00
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Include:
- Providing invaluable support to learners aged 5-19 within an SEN School environment.
- Demonstrating passion for assisting young people with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities.
- Fostering an environment contributing to the growth and development of students with Autism.
- Collaborating closely with peers, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Long-term commitment to the vibrant educational community near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
We're Looking for Candidates who:
- Committed to achieving positive outcomes for the young people they work with.
- Have a genuine eagerness to contribute to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education.
- Exhibit a sincere passion for supporting young individuals with SEND.
- Have an approachable demeanour and the necessary skills to engage effectively with learners in an SEN setting.
- No experience necessary, must be reliable and able to commute to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
