SEN Teaching Assistant Brent

We are actively searching for dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistants to become valued members of our team at a fantastic SEN school in Brent, North London. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll embark on a crucial role, providing tailored support and guidance to students, empowering them to excel academically and thrive personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one and group support, assisting students in accessing the curriculum and developing essential skills.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Assist with the adaptation of learning materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided!
- A compassionate and patient demeanour, with a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of SEN students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Adaptability and resilience to respond effectively to the changing needs of students.
