Location: Near Godalming, Surrey
Pay: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour
Contract: Long-term with the opportunity to secure a permanent position
Working Hours
- Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
The Role
As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support students with complex mental health needs and additional learning needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured and encouraging environment.
Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will:
- Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their confidence and independence.
- Support learning both in the classroom and through individual activities.
- Help students regulate their emotions and engage positively throughout the school day.
- Assist with behaviour support and promote a calm, inclusive learning environment.
- Celebrate each student's progress, no matter how big or small.
No formal teaching qualifications are required—full support and ongoing training will be provided.
