The Role

As a Humanities / PHSE Teacher (SEMH), you will deliver creative, accessible and meaningful lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils across two small, nurturing campuses. With class sizes up to 10 students and a learning approach rooted in movement, connection and curiosity, this is a role where you can truly teach beyond the textbook. Your lessons will bring humanities concepts and PHSE themes to life, helping students explore the wider world, understand themselves and develop the confidence to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach an engaging, adaptive Humanities and PHSE curriculum tailored to diverse SEN and SEMH needs
• Use creative, hands-on and movement-based approaches to make learning memorable
• Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their emotional and social development
• Work collaboratively with pastoral, therapeutic and education teams
• Plan and assess against EHCP outcomes, ensuring every learner makes meaningful progress

What We’re Looking For

• QTS or QTLS (essential)
• Experience in mainstream or SEN settings (Humanities/PHSE experience strongly preferred)
• Confident in adapting learning for pupils with EHCPs and SEMH needs
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to re-engage learners
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travel between sites)

Are you an experienced 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking to make a positive impact near Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire? We are proud to be supporting a learner near Duxford, Cambridgeshire. We are seeking additional support in the form of a 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant. Due to the location, the ideal LSA will have access to transport. You will be supporting a teacher in providing a safe and supportive environment for a learner with undiagnosed needs.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support our primary learners' social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Provide support for pupil’s emotional well-being.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure the pupil is engaged in learning.
• Collaborate with a Teacher.
• Must be able to commute to a rural location near Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

• Be committed to ensuring every pupil receives a platform for education.
• Experience supporting a learner with communication needs.
• Supporting teaching and learning certificates.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or a certificate printed within the last 12 months.
• Supporting a learner near Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Available Mon–Fri.

Inspire EHC are recruiting Primary SEND Tutors across Cambridgeshire to deliver 1:1 tuition for learners with SEMH, Autism, EBSA and undiagnosed needs. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who want to make a meaningful impact outside of a traditional classroom throughout Cambridgeshire.

Primary SEND Tutor Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised, engaging sessions

• Support emotional regulation and confidence‑building

• Work with schools, families and Local Authorities

• Provide consistent, relationship‑based support

• Commute to at times rural locations throughout Cambridgeshire

• Available for a mixture of 10/15/30 hours per week
